Steps

  1. 01

    Pricing model

This decides what else is asked: a flat or seat price wants an amount, a tiered one wants a meter and a tier table.

    Screenshot: Pricing model
    Catalog productRequired
The catalog product this price applies to.
    Pricing modelRequired
Flat ignores quantity. Seat-based multiplies by seats. Tiered and Volume read a tier table.
    CurrencyRequired
Currency this price is quoted in.
    Billing cycleRequired
    How often it bills.
  2. 02

    Amount

    The per-period or per-seat amount.

    AmountRequired
The per-period amount (flat) or per-seat amount (seat-based).
  3. 03

    Meter & tiers

Bounds must ascend and the last tier must be unbounded — an out-of-order table does not error, it rates at the wrong price.

    Screenshot: Meter & tiers
    MeterRequired
The meter this price rates. Without it the meter's usage is never billed.
    Tier modeRequired
Graduated prices each bracket separately; Volume prices every unit at the reached tier. Same table, different totals.
    TiersRequired
Bounds must ascend and the last tier must be unbounded.
    Included units
    Units covered before metering starts.
