    What is counted, in what unit, and how a period of events becomes one billable number.

    Producers emit this exact string and it prints on invoices. Immutable once events reference it.
    Display nameRequired
    Human name shown on the invoice line.
    UnitRequired
    What is counted — calls, GB, hours.
    AggregationRequired
    How a period of events becomes one billable number. SUM totals it; MAX bills the peak; LAST reads the closing value; UNIQUE counts distinct subjects.
